Yorebridge House Wedding Photography - Albert Palmer

Gemma and Ricky recommended me to Amy & Phil after their wedding at Casa Cornacchi. I had a blinding drive up to North Yorkshire with amazing views. I love visiting new wedding venues and exploring new areas. Yorebridge House wedding photography was made all the more easier by incredible views and epic weather. It’s such a beautiful part of the world and I had blast! They got married at Askrigg Church. The children of the village stuck to tradition and tied the church gates closed. The traditions that the bride and groom have to pay the children sweets to untie the gates. I don’t see this at enough weddings although I guess you need a village of children who are free on a Saturday to make it work! Guests then travelled from the church to Yorebridge House on a big London double decker bus. They chose they venue because they love the outdoors of North Yorkshire and it is close to where Amy grew up. We had an incredible time and I remember the speeches which were epic! A massive than...

London Couple Photoshoots — Albert Palmer

A little while ago I headed to Richmond Park with Ali and Andrew for a London couple photoshoot . Other than their own charming selves they bought balloons as an accessory! On our walk we got lost, took photos, avoided deer and dodged a few rain clouds. The adventurous life I lead… Richmond park is always a beautiful place to be, and whilst it was pretty cloudy I love the feel of these photos. Out of all of the London Parks I think I prefer Richmond. I do mention it in my favourite pre wedding spots of London and it’s one of the few parks that ‘can’t’ get crowded. Whilst there are always lots of people around you can always find a few quiet spots to take some cute photos. Also, there are wild deer. So, that pretty much trumps all the other parks! You also have the building of Pembroke Lodge and so, as well as the wildness of the area you have some interesting gardens to wander around.

Best Place for Pre-wedding Photographers london

A pre-wedding shoot intends to capture some natural moments, chemistry, expressions, and real emotions that area unit among the couple in lovely backdrops. The pre-wedding photoshoot is finished at a location that fulfills all the weather needed for a shoot. the foremost in style and customary public place for pre-wedding shoots in london . As I do quite a few pre wedding shoots in London I often get asked about the perfect locations. Well, to start with I’m going to talk a little about the timing. Last time I googled London has a population of just over 8 MILLION people. That’s a lot. Not to mention the tourists which flood the streets in the summer and autumn… So timing plays a part on pre wedding shoots. With sunrise and sunset being the best times – or the quietest times with the best light. I tend to schedule London pre wedding shoots for week days, because as you might imagine the weekends are chaotic. With that in mind here are my top 10 locations for London pre wedding shoots.

Jenna and Dan’s Engagement Photographs — Albert Palmer

Check out Jenna and Dan’s engagement photographs , complete with balloons! You’ll know how busy I am when I blog the engagement photographs after I’ve photographed and delivered the wedding photos I’ll be showing you Jenna and Dan’s wedding photos soon (check out the preview on my Facebook page.) They got married just outside of Bath and it was happiest of wedding days and quite a bit sunnier than their couple shoot. Whilst Clifton always tends to look lovely in sun or cloud we managed to dodge some rain showers and find some new spots I’ve not been to before. As well as some old favourites. It was great to see quite a few of these photographs at Jenna and Dan’s wedding. They had printed them out and displayed them in the guest book. Nothing makes me happier than to see the photos printed. It doesn’t have to be on fancy paper, or be of a great quality (although kudos if they are!) I know some of my most treasured family photos aren’t amazing works of art but they show times I simp...

La Cabane Beach Club Wedding - Albert Palmer

My first La Cabane Beach Club wedding and it was a scorcher! Megan and Gary decided on a wedding in Marbella because it’s a place they spend a lot of time. It’s a really beautiful part of Spain and the travel happily coincided with my Mas Torroella wedding photography in the North of Spain. The day started out at the 5 star Hotel Los Monteros where Megan and Gary both got ready. Megan wore a Kate Fearnley veil. The ceremony was held at Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación. It is a church like no other I have visited! Whilst the architecture inspires a serious atmosphere the priest was extremely friendly and welcoming. There were plenty of laughs during the ceremony and it was great to photograph. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the ceremony although I shouldn’t have worried as it followed a pretty traditional catholic mass.

MC Motors Wedding Photographer - Albert Palmer

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be Alessia and Chris’s MC Motors wedding photographer It was such a fun wedding day. My favourite moment of the day was at about 10pm when a stack of hot pizza arrived for everyone to feast on. Or… it might have been the tasty chicken and chips we had earlier? Or maybe even the wedding donuts and stack of cake? All I know was that I had a blast. I love London weddings. All that I’ve been to have been beautifully unconventional and incredibly personal. It was a pretty special day! I also got to catch up with three other couples whose wedding I’ve photographed. For a change I’ve tried to reduce the amount of photographs in this blog post. Just to try and tell a more concise story. Alessia wore a stunning BHLDN wedding gown and Valentino shoes complete with leather jacket and classic sun glasses. Do do picture her, age 90, looking back at these photos and people telling her how cool she is. The Flower Appreciation Society did a beautiful job wit...

Wadham College Oxford Wedding Photographer - Albert Palmer Photography

Amelia and Gabriel’s wedding was super memorable to me. It was the one where they planned lots of fun locations in and around Oxford. We went from the city centre, meadows, rivers, a pub and inside Wadham College chapel. Mentally this was a logistical challenge for me (I like to keep things simple) but I have to hand it to them, the day was a blinder! They got ready at Cotswold Manor Estate with friends and family before heading in to Wadham College for the ceremony. They met at Oxford University so it was pretty special spot to celebrate their marriage. A shout out to the vicar who not only gave an incredible ceremony but was also accommodating to me. Everyone then headed outside to the quad and gardens for drinks and canapés. Afterwards we walked through the centre of Oxford, taking in a few of the sights. We arrived near Christchurch Meadow where the trial party ‘set sail’ along the river to The Perch. The weather was off the scale! It could not have been any better. I also ph...

NORTHBROOK PARK WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY - ALBERT PALMER

Wowee! Seb and Shabs are on the blog today. I did their Northbrook Park wedding photography and after their engagement shoot and Mendhi I had been impatiently waiting for their wedding day. I kept everything crossed for good weather and it paid off! It must have been one of the hottest days of the year – and it was day of moment after moment of photo opportunities. I’m not going to ramble on too much, the photos will do all the talking! But suffice to say, if you dedicate the drinks reception to great food and ‘sports day’ in the gardens – count me in as your wedding photographer! It was a blast. I’ve been lucky enough to visit Surrey five times in the last month. If you’re looking for a great wedding venue then do check out Northbrook Park. It’s a gem!

Dewsall Court Wedding Photographer - Albert Palmer Photography

I’d not met Kacey or Tony before, and it was my first time as Dewsall Court wedding photographer . I really had no idea what to expect. I like a surprise so I didn’t ask too many questions about cake cutting or first dances. All I did was turn up early as I had an inkling I’d need some extra time. I won’t write an exhaustive review about Dewsall Court, but suffice to say it is in my list of top 10 venues and I can’t wait to return their next month for another wedding. Kacey and Tony got married outside, I can’t use enough descriptive words about how much I love outdoor weddings. I even got married outside myself – so you know I’m not fibbing! But there is just something amazing about an outdoor wedding ceremony. I know it’s tough in the UK what with the whole ‘unpredictable weather’ thing we have going on over here. But when it works, it’s amazing. It’s also a huge bonus for getting great wedding photographs bristo l as you have the light, the freedom of movement and a great view ...

Farnham Castle Wedding Photography - Albert Palmer Photography

I was thrilled when Hannah and Ed booked me for their Farnham Castle wedding . As they live in Australia we had Skyped before the big day. It was great to get to know them and they both seemed like a lot of fun. Originally born in the UK they were coming back to Farnham Castle to tie the knot. This was my first wedding at Farnham Castle which is an exclusive wedding venue. Whilst I had seen photos of it online it was great to see the 900 year old building in person. With an amazing view over Farnham and lovely grounds it is a hidden gem. The bit I liked most about the castle was it’s open air area for the meal out on the grass. Fortunately we had the most amazing heat wave so things worked out perfectly for us (and I’m pretty sure there was a contingency plan should it have rained!) After the ceremony everyone headed outside on to the Great Lawn for drinks and canapes. It was such a hot day everyone was sipping iced drinks in the shade. After the speeches there were special cockt...

Hampton Court House Wedding Photographer - Albert Palmer Photography

When Hannah and Nello asked me to photograph their wedding at Hampton Court House I did a celebratory dance in my office. I may also have punched the air because I’ve always wanted to photograph a wedding at this beautiful venue. Being a Hampton Court House wedding photographer has been on my ‘hit list’ for a few years now. It’s a beautiful building with gorgeous light in the ceremony room. A Bristol wedding photographers dream and they made sure it was a really memorable day. Their wedding was a little bit different for all sorts of reasons. To start, Nello is from Skyros so his family were visiting and there were lots of Greek references throughout the day. The wedding favours were olive oil. Made from olives Hannah and her father picked in Greece last year. The wedding breakfast was catered for by their friend Ben. A charming guy who prepared a 7 course meal, written and inspired by greek food and their favourite flavours and ingredients. They had a “cheese cake” put together ...

Euridge Manor Wedding Photographer - Albert Palmer

My first time being a Euridge Manor wedding photographer at this new local venue – and wow! It is a stunner! Unlike any other wedding venue, I’ve been to it is dripping with character and amazing architecture.  It looked like an exotic location in Italy from a James Bond film or the ruins of a castle in Indiana Jones! With a huge pond/lake, a hill with a bonfire on top, castle ruins and glamorous rooms to get ready and dine in – it was a wedding photographer’s dream. I had BIG expectations for Kate and Sammi’s wedding and the day blew me away. Working alongside Aaron from Reel Weddings it was fast-paced and full of action. Kate and Sammi had organised two amazing bands for the drinks reception and dancing.   My three favourite things about their wedding day were… The wedding party. So much fun and clearly great friends they did everything for Kate and Sammi and were huge fun to be around. My second favourite thing was the ceremony location. Outside, near the water and incred...
