Autumn Wedding at North Cadbury Court - Albert Palmer

Today I’m going back in time to celebrate Anita and Tom’s autumn wedding at North Cadbury Court. I’m thankful I get to visit lots of amazing venues all over the country but I wouldn’t complain if I went to North Cadbury Court every weekend! It really is that nice and I’m thrilled to be a recommended supplier doing North Cadbury Court wedding photography . Autumn is my favourite time of year. The colours, the weather, the temperature – it all came together for their wedding day. The wedding ceremony was inside North Cadbury Court house. Then everyone headed outside to enjoy the sunshine, drinks and nibbles and to celebrate the couple. In the evening Anita got changed in to a red and gold sari for the first dance. As you can see they had an amazing party with some very colourful dance moves. I love a good party and everyone at their wedding had a ball on the dance floor. Folly Farm Spring Wedding Photos

Emily and Michael’s Folly Farm spring wedding has been on my list of weddings to blog for far too long. Today I’m making it happen! Dusting off my virtual photography wedding album and hitting publish. I love being a Folly Farm wedding photographer but this was the first time I had been to St Nicholas & The Blessed Virgin Mary in Stowey. It was a beautiful church and a romantic place to get married although sadly I wasn’t allowed to take photos during the ceremony. But the sun shone brightly for spring time and we were so lucky to have such amazing weather. Check out those blue skies! Towards the end of the day we walked in some amazing fields for some couple photos at sunset. Often my favourite time of the day to take a break and creative some memories. After the walk we heading back for some dance floor action. A few shout outs to some good friends like makeup artist Elle Hitchens and floristry from Sarah Tynan. https://albertpalmerphotography.com/folly-farm-spring-wedding/

CAROLYN & TIM | BATH | ENGAGEMENT SHOOT

Carolyn and Tim did their engagement shoot Bath . We walked through Prior Park, saw ducks, a grotto, dodged cow pats and took photos. We also went in to the city for a little wander around. Bath is a great location for engagement shoots and I love going there because of all the opportunities. There is a little bit of everything. The only problem is avoiding the tourists. Here are a few of my all time favourites…

Somerset Wedding Venues at Albert Palmer

As a Somerset photographer I’m lucky enough to visit many different wedding venues. From huge country mansions to open fields I get to photograph weddings in all sorts of places. They all have a different feel and below are a few of my favourite wedding venues in Somerset .

Southend Barns Wedding Photography - Albert Palmer

One of the good things to come from a quiet time of year is that I finally have time to catch up on my blogging! Today we’re heading back to Jacky & David’s wedding. They got married at St Mary’s Church before heading on to Southend Barns wedding venue. They lucked out with a beautiful day in August which ended with the prettiest of sunsets. It was my first time at Southend Barns although Jacky and Dave found me through a recommendation from this wedding at Upwaltham Barns. Not only did they have a fab Cadillac wedding car their little dog attended the wedding ceremony. Looking at these wedding photos now quickly brings back all the memories of the day. The guys smoking cigars, playing law games, eating amazing food (and cake!) Whilst ‘at work’ I’m always trying to find unique wedding photos and I struck gold! One of my favourite images is of the couple asleep together on an outdoor sofa. It had been a long day and after the wedding breakfast these two crashed out in each others ar...

Pembroke Lodge Wedding — Albert Palmer

I return to Pembroke Lodge every year for a London wedding. Since I haven’t blogged very many since this Pembroke Lodge winter wedding I thought I’d share a sunnier blinder! A few of my favourite photos from Krystal and Luke’s wedding. I have to say a big shout out to bridesmaid Pinar for recommending me from her beautiful wedding at Falconhurst Estate . I started at Krystal’s sisters (beautiful) home with everyone getting ready. We then headed off to Pembroke Lodge for the ceremony in The Belvedere. The beauty of this room is the amount of light that floods in as well as the proximity to the terrace (for drinks and views!) I hadn’t met either Krystal or Luke before, but boy was I in for a treat! Literally my dream couple. Starting with a shout out to Luke’s suit! Pretty similar to my own wedding suit – that blue looked so good! He was relaxed all day, through the ceremony, couple photos, possibly even the speeches! All day he was beaming. Since the sun shone so brightly we took ...

Sian and Nick’s wedding in Bath — Albert Palmer Photography

I must confess I was a little worried for Sian and Nick’s wedding in Bath . I knew it wasn’t going to be a warm day but then it started snowing a few days before and didn’t stop. I shouldn’t have worried. I turned up to photograph Sian getting ready and the snow made for one of the most romantic settings. Ever. Maybe I’m getting older, or more sentimental but Bath was really beautiful that day. I followed the bridal preparations at the Francis Hotel and had a laugh with the girls. I really enjoy this part of the day. Sian and Nick had a simple intimate ceremony at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church which was great to photograph. The church were very relaxed about photographs – ‘do whatever you need to’ were the vicar’s words so I did! They both looked incredible on the day and it was emotional seeing them get married.

Hyde Barn photography - Albert Palmer

I’m really lucky to do Hyde Barn photography every year — it’s a really cool little venue in the Cotswolds. Lucy and Gareth’s wedding was one to remember. Their hard work with amazing styling detail really paid off and the beautiful light we had was the icing on the cake. I met these two a few months before the wedding for an engagement shoot and it was great to get to know them a little better before the big day. I was ultra enthusiastic because I love outdoor weddings. I remember feeling pretty nervous about the weather as it can go any way in June! Luckily it seems that keeping everything crossed worked and it was sunny for their outdoor ceremony. Please scroll on down to see my favourites form the day (and Lucy’s amazing dress!) Almonry Barn Wedding Photographer - Albert Palmer

It was great to be an Almonry Barn wedding photographer again at Vicky & Phil’s wedding at this cute little venue. I’d met Vicky before at Emily & Aaron’s wedding where she was a bridesmaid. Vicky and all of her bridesmaids were amazing to hang out with and gave me a warm welcome when I arrived. Vicky wore an amazing flowercrown made by Cottage Flowers, how amazing does she look? Phil almost forgot to wear his belt! I’d not met Phil before the big day but he was a pretty colourful character. As Vicky walked down the aisle he turned and loudly said ‘hello beautiful!’ The funniest moment happened during the vows when the registrar asked Phil to ‘repeat after me.’ He literally said ‘repeat after me…’ It broke the ice, and while I hadn’t witnessed anyone so bold before his friends and family thought it was pretty hilarious. All I know is it made taking wedding photographs quite a bit easier! I wasn’t sure how she would react but all was well and she smiled. As an Almonry Barn Weddi...
