I must confess I was a little worried for Sian and Nick’s wedding in Bath. I knew it wasn’t going to be a warm day but then it started snowing a few days before and didn’t stop. I shouldn’t have worried. I turned up to photograph Sian getting ready and the snow made for one of the most romantic settings. Ever. Maybe I’m getting older, or more sentimental but Bath was really beautiful that day. I followed the bridal preparations at the Francis Hotel and had a laugh with the girls. I really enjoy this part of the day. Sian and Nick had a simple intimate ceremony at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church which was great to photograph. The church were very relaxed about photographs – ‘do whatever you need to’ were the vicar’s words so I did! They both looked incredible on the day and it was emotional seeing them get married.

 My family photography style is just like my style for weddings – natural, fun and colourful. Being a dad myself I know how quickly little ones grow up and so family photos are priceless. I’ve had several family shoots myself and they mean the world to me. My photos are printed out large and hung on the walls.
