 London is full of amazing pre-wedding locations. I suggest people all over the globe choose this city to get fantastic pre-wedding pictures. The eye-catching sunrise and sunset of London add unique beauty to the romantic shots. When people ask “ places for wedding photoshoots near me ”, I recommend them ST. Pauls Cathedral, Paternoster Sq, Embankment Big Ben, Millennium Bridge, Shoreditch, Regents Park, Primrose Hill, Hyde Park & the Rose Garden and King’s Road. If you are also Googling “wedding photo location near me”, these spots are the ideal options.

Here are a few of my favourite snaps from Natasha and Richard’s wedding in St Giles House , Wimborne, Dorset. A flipping ace venue with so much character and charm. I’ve been before to a winter wedding at St Giles House so I was familiar with the lay of the land. But it was especially nice to visit in the springtime. The grounds were at their greenest and looked resplendent! Natasha and Richard’s wedding was memorable because they drove a massive motorbike from Alaska (more on that later!) Natasha and Richard’s wedding was a day full of laughter, fun and drinks outside in the sunshine. It was a gorgeous day and I took a mental snapshot to remind myself how amazing my job is. Their wedding breakfast was served in the gardens of St Giles House thanks to events superstars Alastair Currie Events. the ceremony felt very intimate and took place in the church a stones throw away. As I do quite a few pre wedding shoots in London I often get asked about the perfect locations. Well, to start with I’m going to talk a little about the timing. Last time I googled London has a population of just over 8 MILLION people. That’s a lot. Not to mention the tourists which flood the streets in the summer and autumn… So timing plays a part on pre wedding shoots. With sunrise and sunset being the best times – or the quietest times with the best light. I tend to schedule London pre wedding shoots for week days, because as you might imagine the weekends are chaotic. With that in mind here are my top 10 locations for London pre wedding shoots.  It is no secret that destination weddings are on the rise. In fact, according to a recent survey, more than 50% of couples said they would consider getting married somewhere other than their hometown.  One of the good things to come from a quiet time of year is that I finally have time to catch up on my blogging! Today we’re heading back to Jacky & David’s wedding. They got married at St Mary’s Church before heading on to Southend Barns wedding venue. They lucked out with a beautiful day in August which ended with the prettiest of sunsets. It was my first time at Southend Barns although Jacky and Dave found me through a recommendation from this wedding at Upwaltham Barns. Not only did they have a fab Cadillac wedding car their little dog attended the wedding ceremony. Looking at these wedding photos now quickly brings back all the memories of the day. The guys smoking cigars, playing law games, eating amazing food (and cake!) Whilst ‘at work’ I’m always trying to find unique wedding photos and I struck gold!  I’ve been to Surrey quite a few times in the last month. You’ve seen the Northbrook Park wedding – now check out Louisa and Jeremy’s big day. I shot Tom and Jennifer’s wedding . They were there. I also shot Amy and Carlo’s wedding. They were there too. As Jeremy and Louisa live down-under I wasn’t too sure what to expect but I knew (based on their friends weddings) that it would really be a lot of fun. I’m not going to talk too much about their day (hopefully the photos will do that) – but I’m really happy to be adding them to the website – quite a few will make it to my wedding portfolio – I’m really quite pleased with them. Gemma and Ricky recommended me to Amy & Phil after their wedding at Casa Cornacchi. I had a blinding drive up to North Yorkshire with amazing views. I love visiting new wedding venues and exploring new areas. Yorebridge House wedding photography was made all the more easier by incredible views and epic weather. It’s such a beautiful part of the world and I had blast! They got married at Askrigg Church. The children of the village stuck to tradition and tied the church gates closed. The traditions that the bride and groom have to pay the children sweets to untie the gates. I don’t see this at enough weddings although I guess you need a village of children who are free on a Saturday to make it work! Guests then travelled from the church to Yorebridge House on a big London double decker bus. They chose they venue because they love the outdoors of North Yorkshire and it is close to where Amy grew up. We had an incredible time and I remember the speeches which were epic! A massive than...

 A little while ago I headed to Richmond Park with Ali and Andrew for a London couple photoshoot . Other than their own charming selves they bought balloons as an accessory! On our walk we got lost, took photos, avoided deer and dodged a few rain clouds. The adventurous life I lead… Richmond park is always a beautiful place to be, and whilst it was pretty cloudy I love the feel of these photos. Out of all of the London Parks I think I prefer Richmond. I do mention it in my favourite pre wedding spots of London and it’s one of the few parks that ‘can’t’ get crowded. Whilst there are always lots of people around you can always find a few quiet spots to take some cute photos. Also, there are wild deer. So, that pretty much trumps all the other parks! You also have the building of Pembroke Lodge and so, as well as the wildness of the area you have some interesting gardens to wander around.

They got married just outside of Bath and it was happiest of wedding days and quite a bit sunnier than their couple shoot. Whilst Clifton always tends to look lovely in sun or cloud we managed to dodge some rain showers and find some new spots I’ve not been to before. As well as some old favourites. It was great to see quite a few of these photographs at Jenna and Dan’s wedding. They had printed them out and displayed them in the guest book. Nothing makes me happier than to see the photos printed. It doesn’t have to be on fancy paper, or be of a great quality (although kudos if they are!)  My first La Cabane Beach Club wedding and it was a scorcher! Megan and Gary decided on a wedding in Marbella because it’s a place they spend a lot of time. It’s a really beautiful part of Spain and the travel happily coincided with my Mas Torroella wedding photography in the North of Spain. The day started out at the 5 star Hotel Los Monteros where Megan and Gary both got ready. Megan wore a Kate Fearnley veil. The ceremony was held at Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación. It is a church like no other I have visited! Whilst the architecture inspires a serious atmosphere the priest was extremely friendly and welcoming. There were plenty of laughs during the ceremony and it was great to photograph. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the ceremony although I shouldn’t have worried as it followed a pretty traditional catholic mass. 

 A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be Alessia and Chris’s MC Motors wedding photographer It was such a fun wedding day. My favourite moment of the day was at about 10pm when a stack of hot pizza arrived for everyone to feast on. Or… it might have been the tasty chicken and chips we had earlier? Or maybe even the wedding donuts and stack of cake? All I know was that I had a blast. I love London weddings. All that I’ve been to have been beautifully unconventional and incredibly personal. It was a pretty special day! I also got to catch up with three other couples whose wedding I’ve photographed. For a change I’ve tried to reduce the amount of photographs in this blog post.
