Bristol Wedding Photographer

 A little while ago I headed to Richmond Park with Ali and Andrew for a London couple photoshoot . Other than their own charming selves they bought balloons as an accessory! On our walk we got lost, took photos, avoided deer and dodged a few rain clouds. The adventurous life I lead… Richmond park is always a beautiful place to be, and whilst it was pretty cloudy I love the feel of these photos. Out of all of the London Parks I think I prefer Richmond. I do mention it in my favourite pre wedding spots of London and it’s one of the few parks that ‘can’t’ get crowded. Whilst there are always lots of people around you can always find a few quiet spots to take some cute photos. Also, there are wild deer. So, that pretty much trumps all the other parks! You also have the building of Pembroke Lodge and so, as well as the wildness of the area you have some interesting gardens to wander around.

They got married just outside of Bath and it was happiest of wedding days and quite a bit sunnier than their couple shoot. Whilst Clifton always tends to look lovely in sun or cloud we managed to dodge some rain showers and find some new spots I’ve not been to before. As well as some old favourites. It was great to see quite a few of these photographs at Jenna and Dan’s wedding. They had printed them out and displayed them in the guest book. Nothing makes me happier than to see the photos printed. It doesn’t have to be on fancy paper, or be of a great quality (although kudos if they are!)  Time to take a trip to sunny Tuscany now for Katie and Matthew’s Villa Podernovo wedding! The couple love Italy, especially Matthew who is an architect. It’s no wonder Katie and Matthew chose the magnificent San Galgano Abbey as the location for their wedding ceremony. Situated twenty-five miles west of Siena, the ancient ruin is almost seven hundred years old. I’ve been there twice before and it was great to be back! Getting ready for their Villa Podernovo wedding Katie and Matthew were super relaxed. Matthew is Australian and there were a few subtle nods to that throughout the day. See if you can spot the eucalyptus leaves in any of the photos. Katie’s stunning wedding dress from Made With Love Bridal was also Australian. It was my pleasure to travel to Brittany in Northern France for Cho and Gauthier’s Chateau de Keriolet wedding . You may have already seen them on my Instagram, as we met up in Cornwall and Bath previously for pre-wedding photos. They are a really fun couple and we had a lot of laughs! Cho and Gauthier had a beautiful ceremony at the town hall in Concarneau before heading on to Chateau de Keriolet for an outdoor wedding ceremony. Gauthier’s sister did an amazing job as the celebrant where she had to speak in both French and English. Chateau de Keriolet dates back to the 13th century and is an incredible venue to have a wedding. The grounds and architecture are spectacular. One of the most dramatic parts is the courtyard, which is a mix of Medieval, Renaissance and Neo-Gothic architecture.  I was particularly taken with the main gate which had a drawbridge and probably took a few too many photos there!
