My first time being a Euridge Manor wedding photographer at this new local venue – and wow! It is a stunner! Unlike any other wedding venue, I’ve been to it is dripping with character and amazing architecture.  It looked like an exotic location in Italy from a James Bond film or the ruins of a castle in Indiana Jones! With a huge pond/lake, a hill with a bonfire on top, castle ruins and glamorous rooms to get ready and dine in – it was a wedding photographer’s dream. I had BIG expectations for Kate and Sammi’s wedding and the day blew me away. Working alongside Aaron from Reel Weddings it was fast-paced and full of action.  You’ll love this post, St Giles House wedding photography in the winter! AJ & Daniel had an amazing wedding with two ceremonies. One secular and also a Jewish ceremony with more family and friends attending. My top three moments of the day start with the Jewish band and the evening dancing. I can’t get enough of these photos and they were well worth having my toes stomped on! After Daniel finished his wedding speech everyone headed to the drawing room for some wild dancing. You’ll find an image or two from this in my updated 2019 portfolio (coming soon!) My second favourite thing was seeing a few familiar faces from other weddings I’ve been to. Guests from Louisa & Jez and Jemma and Tom. Even if it was just to say a quick ‘hi’ it’s quite fun to see people again, although I’m not sure many of them recognised me! It was amazing to return to Huntstile Organic Farm for Em and Rob’s summer wedding. They actually tied the knot nearby in St Edward King & Martyr Church, Goathurst. Although they got ready and held the reception at the farm. I’ve only ever previously done a Huntstile Organic Farm wedding in the winter – so it was great to see it in all of its summer glory. Right in the thick of the summer heat wave these photos take me right back to a time where it was too bright to open my eyes! Working in the heat was tough enough, but it was impossible not to get caught up in the vibe of the day. Rob and EM’s smiles were infectious! My top three things about their wedding start with the amazing sunset. Couple photos were a dream – just take a look at that sunset over the Somerset fields! My second favourite thing was the tractor that ferried all of the guests from Huntstile Organic Farm to the church. Can’t go wrong with a little Somerset tractor action at your wedding! My first winter Iceland pre wedding shoot and I couldn’t have asked for better conditions. I’ve been lucky enough to visit Iceland twice before but both in ‘moderate’ conditions. That means – pretty cold, but I could get by with a jumper and jacket. This pre wedding shoot was in February and I had at least 4 layers on. It was crazy cold, with some strong winds. But Samuel and Graz were absolute heroes! I’m not quite sure how they did but thank you SO much! Fortunately they managed to escape the shoot without contracting a cold – they must have pretty strong immune systems! Pre Wedding Shoot Locations As well as the Blue Lagoon we visited a few other famous locations including the Black Beaches, Skogafoss waterfall and also Diamond Beach. I’m so sorry it’s been so long since I last blogged. In fairness, if you follow me on instagram you will already have seen a few beautiful photos from Tara and Tim’s wedding at Huntsham Court. Although I am a   Bristol wedding photographer   it was only a short trip down to Devon to my first ‘large’ weddings of 2021 (whoop!) They had 59 guests, most of whom stayed for the weekend. Since they booked Tara and Tim had a super cute baby – who stayed awake for most of the day to enjoy all of the fun. A few shout outs to Love Spell Design who made Tara’s incredible dress. But that’s not to forget Tim’s epic suit – can’t beat a light blue! Wedding rings by @samhamdesign, pretty flowers from @earthgalleryflowers and yum food from @mulberry_catering_company.
