I’d not met Kacey or Tony before, and it was my first time as Dewsall Court wedding photographer. I really had no idea what to expect. I like a surprise so I didn’t ask too many questions about cake cutting or first dances. All I did was turn up early as I had an inkling I’d need some extra time. I won’t write an exhaustive review about Dewsall Court, but suffice to say it is in my list of top 10 venues and I can’t wait to return their next month for another wedding.

Kacey and Tony got married outside, I can’t use enough descriptive words about how much I love outdoor weddings. I even got married outside myself – so you know I’m not fibbing! But there is just something amazing about an outdoor wedding ceremony. I know it’s tough in the UK what with the whole ‘unpredictable weather’ thing we have going on over here. But when it works, it’s amazing. It’s also a huge bonus for getting great wedding photographs bristol as you have the light, the freedom of movement and a great view of all of the guests to capture their reactions.
Friends and family flew in from all over the globe. Kacey is American and so there were plenty of family who braved the trip over from the states. Including a few young children who made my life as a photographer easy by being cute and photogenic as children do.
