USB Sticks for Photographers

I’ve taken delivery of some new USB sticks ready for 2020 and beyond! Call me old fashioned but all my couples receive a custom USB drive as standard. I enjoy delivering a tangible item and as not everyone buys a physical wedding album I sent out prints and a memory stick to everyone as a little thank you. Unbelievably when I first started out I used to send the images on a DVD! Boy  am I glad that’s changed!

Now, most of my couples collect their photos via digital delivery. It’s really convenient, you can access them anytime, anywhere as long as you have your phone, tablet or a computer. It’s really simple PLUS you don’t have to wait for the postman! There are free downloads for everyone and it’s a great way of sharing them.

But, for those reasons I do still send out a little retro USB stick. Maybe it’s sentimentality but it’s also a really useful backup solution for wedding photos. Whilst I keep hold of everyone’s wedding photos (in THREE locations no less!) I do think people appreciate it.

Full disclosure though, USB memory direct did reach out to partner with me. They sent me these memory sticks for free for the purpose of a review. I wasn’t paid to write a review and they won’t get a chance to preview my thoughts before I publish this. Also, it was a nice opportunity to take some colourful product photos, something I’d quite like to do a little more of!

These USB sticks have a really nice clean look which goes well with the rest of my packaging. I really like the magnetic lid and they are nice and small. They are great USB sticks for wedding photographers and super speedy too.

Southend Barns Wedding Photography - Albert Palmer

One of the good things to come from a quiet time of year is that I finally have time to catch up on my blogging! Today we’re heading back to Jacky & David’s wedding. They got married at St Mary’s Church before heading on to Southend Barns wedding venue. They lucked out with a beautiful day in August which ended with the prettiest of sunsets. It was my first time at Southend Barns although Jacky and Dave found me through a recommendation from this wedding at Upwaltham Barns. Not only did they have a fab Cadillac wedding car their little dog attended the wedding ceremony. Looking at these wedding photos now quickly brings back all the memories of the day. The guys smoking cigars, playing law games, eating amazing food (and cake!) Whilst ‘at work’ I’m always trying to find unique wedding photos and I struck gold! One of my favourite images is of the couple asleep together on an outdoor sofa. It had been a long day and after the wedding breakfast these two crashed out in each others ar...

Pembroke Lodge Wedding — Albert Palmer

I return to Pembroke Lodge every year for a London wedding. Since I haven’t blogged very many since this Pembroke Lodge winter wedding I thought I’d share a sunnier blinder! A few of my favourite photos from Krystal and Luke’s wedding. I have to say a big shout out to bridesmaid Pinar for recommending me from her beautiful wedding at Falconhurst Estate . I started at Krystal’s sisters (beautiful) home with everyone getting ready. We then headed off to Pembroke Lodge for the ceremony in The Belvedere. The beauty of this room is the amount of light that floods in as well as the proximity to the terrace (for drinks and views!) I hadn’t met either Krystal or Luke before, but boy was I in for a treat! Literally my dream couple. Starting with a shout out to Luke’s suit! Pretty similar to my own wedding suit – that blue looked so good! He was relaxed all day, through the ceremony, couple photos, possibly even the speeches! All day he was beaming. Since the sun shone so brightly we took ...

Countryside Pre Wedding Shoot - Albert Palmer Photography

Heading in to the summer of 2021 I had a great countryside pre wedding shoot with Anisha & Ravi. They had planned to go to Turkey for a hot air balloon shoot. You know. The one where loads of balloons all take off at once and it looks incredible?! A bit like a postcard? Well, due to a few travel restrictions they ended up meeting me one cloudy afternoon in the Cotswolds. They were a super nice couple and the pleasure was all mine. Despite the cloudy start things changed up and we were treated to an amazing sunset. We visited a few different spots around the countryside and chanced upon some amazing fields filled with yellow flowers and corn. It is great to be back doing pre wedding shoots, I’ve been to London a few times as well as the Cotswolds. I can’t wait to share these photos, and if you’re turned in to my instagram you may well have seen a few of these photos already. In fact I’m going to upload a few more right now! If you’d like to see a few more pre wedding shoots do visi...
