Manor By The Lake Wedding Photography - Albert Palmer

This post has been a long time coming but I’m happy to share some Manor By The Lake wedding photography with you from Emma and Nathan’s wedding. They got married in the spring so it was great to see the blossom was out! Along with friends and family they had their super cute children with them for the day. They obviously made it in to quite a few of the wedding photos, because, as you’ll know although weddings are mainly about the bride and groom family is so so important.

Getting to know them as a family before the day was really nice. They had an engagement shoot which turned in to a bit of a family shoot. I’m proud to say that they liked the photos so much that Emma bought her sister and her family a shoot too! I don’t do too many family shoots but I really enjoy them, and especially ahead of the wedding it’s great to hang out and find out what is important to people before the wedding day. Every wedding is different and a big part of my job is figuring out what is meaningful to each person.

This was my first wedding at Manor by the Lake which is strange as it’s so close by. In fact I don’t think I’d even heard of it before! It is a beautiful house set in beautiful grounds and lends itself well for weddings. Obviously! I think my favourite moment of the wedding day was during the cocktail hour right after they got married. Loads of children running around, people celebrating, having fun, exploring the gardens. Drinks and amazing looking canapĆ©s were coming out – it was just a really nice time and great to photograph.

A huge thank you to Emma and Nathan for having me along to share and capture your wedding day.

La Cabane Beach Club Wedding - Albert Palmer

My first La Cabane Beach Club wedding and it was a scorcher! Megan and Gary decided on a wedding in Marbella because it’s a place they spend a lot of time. It’s a really beautiful part of Spain and the travel happily coincided with my Mas Torroella wedding photography in the North of Spain. The day started out at the 5 star Hotel Los Monteros where Megan and Gary both got ready. Megan wore a Kate Fearnley veil. The ceremony was held at Iglesia de Nuestra SeƱora de la Encarnación. It is a church like no other I have visited! Whilst the architecture inspires a serious atmosphere the priest was extremely friendly and welcoming. There were plenty of laughs during the ceremony and it was great to photograph. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the ceremony although I shouldn’t have worried as it followed a pretty traditional catholic mass.
